How rare is the Monte Carlo with the bubbly window?
Also, the shortest 500 feet ever:

Way rarer than I thought, according to Wikipedia they were only built for 2 years and only 6,252 were ever made. I always thought there more produced.

Damn, cool! I always see neat stuff when I head out that way, so I’m sure it’s authentic.

You have led me down a wormhole, thanks for that. There are 4 known or suspected replica’s running around. Apparently then VIN’s don’t match the VIN’s GM said were produced. It could be one of them, probably not though.

Pretty sure it was a NASCAR deal.

If that’s an 86 Aerocoupe it’s one of 200 built that year. 1986 SS Aerocoupes were all White with Burgundy interior.
Pretty rare for sure.

200 built in 86, A lot more built in 87. It appears to be an 87 with a “laydown” spoiler vs the 86 with the ducktail.
Not a fan of what the aero window does for the roofline aesthetically. But they are cool, rare-ish cars. Would have been nice if GM would have tossed the GN motor into them or the roller 350 from the corvette.

Only enough for NASCAR homologation.
